Being exposed to music and hands-on music lessons since the age of 6, Mary has always had a unique sense of joy and creativity for music and loves the benefits that music has in a person’s life. A passionate Opera Singer, she is currently a member of the New Zealand Opera Chorus and also a part of alternative folk duo ‘Cape Hill’. Mary is very passionate about music and creating a creative and positive environment for her students. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Music with Honours in Classical Voice from the University of Waikato, LTCL Diploma with Distinction in Voice, ABRSM Grade 6 Theory and ABRSM Grade 5 Piano.
